About The Position
Benedictine’s Certified Nursing Assistants provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents. Working on the front lines of resident care, CNAs help ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives. The role includes direct resident care, reporting changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN, and charting in the POC system. Benedictine is a nonprofit senior care organization founded by the sisters of St. Scholastica and guided by Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice. This opportunity is available at Benedictine Living Community – La Crosse, with multiple part-time and full-time openings across day, evening, and overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Hold BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN.
- Chart in the POC system.
- Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
- Help ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives.
