About The Position
Providence Healthcare of Thomaston is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to work in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Certified Nurse Aide applies a general understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans that meet customers’ needs. The role also performs customer-care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to customers’ personal needs and comfort.
Requirements
- Successfully completed a State-approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Use a general understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills in developing and implementing individualized Nursing Care Plans.
- Perform customer-care activities and related nonprofessional services to support customers’ personal needs and comfort.
