About The Position
Moab Regional Hospital is hiring a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant for its Medical Surgical Team. CNAs are an essential part of the inpatient care team and work under the supervision of Registered Nurses to provide care to patients ranging from newborns to geriatric patients with a wide range of acuities and needs. The role offers an opportunity for professional growth and skill development. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with an anticipated days/nights schedule. Starting pay is $20–$28.48 per hour, depending on experience. Moab Regional Hospital describes its work environment as supportive and emphasizes balancing community care with employee care. Requirements
- Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills with clinical and non-clinical individuals.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to respond quickly to unexpected changes.
- Working knowledge of English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Ability to work confidentially.
- Reliable and timely attendance.
- Ability to stand, walk, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools, or controls for shifts of up to 12 hours.
- Manual dexterity and coordination for more than 50% of the time while on duty.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and weights over 50 pounds with assistance.
Nice To Haves
- Current Utah CNA or EMT license.
- Prior work experience in a similar role in a medical setting.
