About The Position

Promise Home Care is seeking caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides to provide in-home care. Caregivers provide personal care and companionship, assist clients with daily living activities, help with light housekeeping and meal preparation, monitor and report changes in client condition, and offer emotional support. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours, with consistent weekly hours. The role may involve evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate.
Active driver’s license and a reliable vehicle; must be able to drive.
Active auto insurance.
Active CPR certification.
Health physical or health statement completed within the last year.
Proof of a negative TB test within the last year or a negative chest X-ray within the last five years.
Level 2 background screening through AHCA or ability to successfully pass a background check.
Caring, patient, reliable, and communicative, with a commitment to high-quality care.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Flexible availability, including potential evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes.
Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions.
Offer emotional support and a warm, caring presence.
