About The Position
Silver Lining Home Healthcare is hiring CNAs and caregivers to provide one-on-one personal care and companionship in clients’ homes, hospitals, nursing homes, or rehabilitation centers in the Felton, Harrington, and surrounding areas. Care plans are tailored to clients’ needs, including support during transitions home from the hospital or companionship for a few hours a day. Full-time and part-time live-in positions are available.
Requirements
- Current CNA or HHA certification, or completion of a Delaware CNA program.
- Open availability, including weekends.
- Physical exam and 2-step PPD/TSpot/FingerPrinting.
- Ability to lift, position, transfer, and operate a Hoyer lift.
- Compassionate, respectful, and committed to excellent care.
Responsibilities
- Provide care according to each client’s Plan of Care.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Operate a Hoyer lift.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Follow infection control procedures.
- Protect client privacy and confidential information.
