About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide to serve patients in specified counties in its Assistive Care Division. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the aide provides personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role involves one-on-one care in clients’ homes, with support from a larger care team and 24/7 clinical support. BAYADA provides training and offers flexible per-diem scheduling. The starting rate is $22 per hour.

Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Follow a written plan of care established by a registered nurse.
Provide personal care, household support, and companion care services to adults in their homes.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
Deliver compassionate, excellent, and reliable patient care.
