About The Position
Silver Lining Home Healthcare is hiring CNAs and caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care and companionship in the Middletown, Delaware area and surrounding communities. Care may be provided in a client's home, hospital, nursing home, or rehabilitation center. Care plans are tailored to each client's needs, including support during transitions home from the hospital and companionship for a few hours a day. Full-time and part-time live-in positions are available.
Requirements
- Current CNA or HHA certification, or completion of a Delaware CNA program.
- Open availability, including weekends.
- Physical exam and 2-step PPD, TSpot, and fingerprinting.
- Ability to lift, position, and transfer clients and operate a Hoyer lift.
- Compassionate, respectful, and committed to excellent care.
Responsibilities
- Provide care according to each client's Plan of Care.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Operate a Hoyer lift.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Follow infection control procedures.
- Protect client privacy and confidential information.
