About The Position

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
• At least 5 years of clinical healthcare experience, with a strong understanding of patient care workflows and operational processes.
• Proven EMR experience, including system functionality, workflow optimization, and end-user support; Meditech experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis, data management, systems evaluation, and performance improvement tools.
• In-depth understanding of hospital information systems and integration of clinical applications in healthcare environments.
• Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field preferred.
• Meditech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with workflow discussions, patient care strategy, and Health Support Center (HSC) standards to support technology adoption.
• Develop and provide education and support to physicians and clinical staff on the EMR and related applications.
• Act as a liaison between clinical departments, providers, and Information Systems teams to integrate and optimize Meditech applications.
• Deliver EMR training and ongoing support to employed and locum providers.
• Collaborate with leadership, end users, and vendors to identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve application and workflow issues.
• Analyze clinical and operational workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance system performance, user satisfaction, and patient care outcomes.
• Participate in implementation of certified EMR applications and interfaces; coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate clinician and physician functional testing before and after upgrades and improvements under HSC direction where applicable.
• Develop and maintain reports and data solutions that provide actionable insights for departmental decision-making and operational effectiveness.
• Participate in EMR testing, including enhancements, upgrades, and validation of new functionality before production.
• Assist in developing rollout plans for new EMR features, including training plans, testing plans, and go-live support.
• Provide responsive technical support and build cross-functional relationships to promote continuous improvement and effective communication.
