About The Position

Requirements

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• Two years of clinical experience in the area of specialization.

• Proficient in EHR use, workflow assessment, end-user training, and issue identification.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and basic project-coordination skills.
• Ability to support optimization efforts, coach users, troubleshoot issues, and reinforce standardized documentation practices.
• Ability to develop training materials.
• Ability to lead training sessions and clinical informatics rounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the effective use of the electronic health record and related clinical information systems.
• Providing expertise in clinical workflows.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance system functionality.
• Promoting safe, efficient, and compliant documentation practices.
• Contributing to organizational training and change-management efforts through development of training materials, delivery of end-user support, and reinforcement of standardized workflows.
• Monitoring and triaging system issues.
• Supporting downtime preparedness activities.
• Participating in governance structures to operationalize workflow improvements.
