About The Position
The full-time Cleanroom Technician maintains pristine environments within controlled GMP manufacturing facilities. The role performs routine and non-routine sanitization in regulated areas, prepares and handles approved cleaning agents, maintains documentation according to GDP and cGMP standards, manages cleanroom supplies and waste, and completes cleanroom gowning while following environmental safety protocols. The position is based in Durham, NC, pays $20.00 per hour, and follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and ability to follow written SOPs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Pass gowning qualification and adhere to dress codes, including no makeup or jewelry.
Nice To Haves
- Prior cGMP or cleanroom cleaning experience; experience is not required, as training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine sanitization of rooms in regulated areas.
- Prepare, mix, and dispose of approved cleaning agents according to rotation and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and cGMP standards.
- Manage cleanroom supply inventory, restock gowning apparel, and collect waste.
- Complete full cleanroom gowning and follow environmental safety protocols.
