About The Position

The Clean Room Maintenance Technician II supports manufacturing operations at Applied Medical by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment within a cleanroom environment. Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, this cleanroom equipment technician helps keep production lines running reliably while meeting strict quality and safety standards. Applied Medical depends on skilled production equipment maintenance technicians to minimize downtime and support consistent, high-quality manufacturing output. This position requires flexibility to work second or third shift (Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday), along with the ability to work more than eight hours a day, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Requirements

  • Two to five years of maintenance experience, including troubleshooting machinery
  • Applies knowledge in one or more of the following fields: electronics, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems
  • Demonstrates a motivated, self-starter, proactive approach to team contribution
  • Communicates effectively with production team members, team leaders, and engineers
  • Demonstrates strong hand eye coordination
  • Completes a high school diploma, GED, or one year of experience in a similar maintenance position

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with packaging machinery, including heat sealers and form fill packaging machines
  • A minimum of one year of experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment within a cleanroom environment
  • Troubleshoot and identify equipment issues during scheduled maintenance requests
  • Follow cleanroom procedures, safety guidelines, and maintenance regulations to meet quality requirements
  • Assist with equipment repairs and parts ordering, communicating concerns to team leaders as needed
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals
  • Collaborate with production team members, team leaders, and engineers to support consistent component quality
  • Contribute to a team environment that meets or exceeds production and quality goals
