About The Position

STS Aerospace in Laconia, New Hampshire, is seeking a Clean Room Trainee responsible for the daily operation of the clean room. The role works the second shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM, with a $1.00 shift differential. The employee must consistently, regularly, and predictably report to work on time. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

The position involves cleaning, testing, drying, inspecting, and packaging final assemblies while maintaining cleanliness and accurate records. Employees must follow required safety and OSHA rules and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Consistently, regularly, and predictably report to work on time.

Responsibilities

• Clean final assemblies using alkaline cleaner.
• Perform cleanliness testing using solvent.
• Dry final assemblies using nitrogen and a vacuum oven.
• Perform microscope and other forms of inspection.
• Package final assemblies to preserve cleanliness.
• Record and maintain test results and data in the computer system.
• Verify and maintain the accuracy and completeness of routers and other applicable documents.
• Follow required safety and OSHA rules and regulations, including the use of PPE.
• Report to work consistently, regularly, predictably, and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
