About The Position

Nexxt Spine LLC is a medical device company that designs, manufactures, and distributes spinal implants and instruments. The Finishing Technician supports manufacturing operations in specialized production areas, including Shot Blast, Laser Marking, Laser Welding, Ultrasonic Cleaning, and the Clean Room. The role works closely with the Shift Production Lead, other team members, and departments to produce medical-device components.

Requirements

• Self-motivated and committed to consistently producing high-quality parts.
• Capable of performing all essential duties.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Hand dexterity for working with small parts such as spinal implants and instruments.
• Ability to wear provided cleanroom PPE, including coveralls, sterile gloves, shoe covers, hoods, and eye protection, for the entirety of the assigned shift.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience in a cleanroom environment preferred.
• Associate’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing tasks such as cleaning, anodizing, and packaging.
• Practice aseptic behavior and perform aseptic techniques within a clean room environment.
• Safely and accurately load and operate machines such as parts washers and autoclaves using established manufacturing processes.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Operational Control Procedures (OCP).
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Perform cleanroom housekeeping, including cleaning rooms and equipment, disposing of trash and recyclables, and following established standards.
• Assist other departments as needed and complete other tasks as assigned.
