About The Position

The Medical Assistant will greet patients and escort them to exam rooms, document vital signs, allergies, medications, and the reason for the office visit. They will also perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height, and weight, and provide front office support as needed. This role may involve phlebotomy and giving injections, varying based on the specialty. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
  • CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
  • One year of work experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
  • Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred, but not required.
  • previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
