About The Position
We are a leader in the entertainment industry specializing in ticketing for live events, including music, sports, and theatrical performances. The company provides tickets to events and shows nationwide and uses technology to deliver an experience for customers. The Ticket Buyer purchases tickets at venue box offices using purchase orders received through a smartphone app and a company-provided credit card. After each purchase, the buyer enters the transaction details in the app and ships the tickets to the company. Commissions are paid weekly by direct deposit after tickets are received; there is no base pay. The role offers flexible scheduling and is presented as an opportunity to earn extra income, with earnings described as up to $20+/hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
- Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
- Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
- Be able to communicate through SMS.
- Be accurate, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
- Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
- Have good verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in other gig-type work may be a good fit; no experience is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Receive ticket purchase orders through a smartphone app.
- Travel to venue box offices and purchase tickets using a company-provided credit card.
- Enter detailed purchase information in the app after buying tickets.
- Ship purchased tickets to the company.
