About The Position

We are a leader in the entertainment industry specializing in ticketing for live events, including music, sports, and theatrical performances. We are hiring a Ticket Buyer to purchase tickets at venue box offices. Ticket buyers receive purchase orders through an app on their smartphone, travel to venues, and use a company-provided credit card to buy tickets. They enter purchase details in the app and ship the tickets to the company. Buyers earn commissions for each ticket purchase, paid weekly by direct deposit after the tickets are received; there is no base pay. The schedule is flexible, with an expected commitment of approximately two days per week and one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., depending on venue box office hours. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be eligible to work in the United States.
Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to purchase tickets.
Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
Be able to communicate through SMS.
Be accurate, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
Have good verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in another gig-type job may be a good fit; no experience is necessary.
