About The Position

The Ticket Buyer purchases tickets at venue box offices on behalf of the company. Purchase orders are received through a smartphone app, and the buyer travels to venues and uses a company-provided credit card to purchase tickets. After each purchase, the buyer enters the details in the app and ships the tickets to the company. The role offers commission on each ticket purchase, paid weekly by direct deposit after the tickets are received; there is no base pay. The schedule is flexible, with an expected commitment of approximately two days per week and 1–4 hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., depending on venue box office hours. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be eligible to work in the United States.
Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
Be able to work approximately two days per week, 1–4 hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
Be able to communicate through SMS.
Be accurate, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
Have good verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in other gig-type work may be a good fit, though no experience is necessary.
