About The Position

The Ticket Buyer purchases tickets at venue box offices for live events, including music, sports, and theatrical performances. Buyers receive ticket purchase orders through a smartphone app, travel to venues, and use a company-provided credit card to purchase tickets. Afterward, they enter purchase details in the app and ship the tickets to the company. The role pays commissions for each ticket purchase, with commissions paid weekly by direct deposit after tickets are received; there is no base pay. The schedule is flexible and generally requires approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, during venue box office hours, which vary and generally fall between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be eligible to work in the United States.
Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
Be able to communicate through SMS.
Be accurate, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
Have good verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in other gig-type work may be a good fit; no experience is necessary.
