About The Position
We are a leader in the entertainment industry specializing in ticketing for live events, including music, sports, and theatrical performances. The company is hiring a Ticket Buyer to purchase tickets at venue box offices. Buyers receive purchase orders through a smartphone app, travel to venues, and use a company-provided credit card to purchase tickets. After the purchase, they enter the details in the app and ship the tickets to the company. Buyers earn commissions for each ticket purchase, paid weekly by direct deposit after tickets are received; there is no base pay. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit people with gig-work experience, though no experience is necessary.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
- Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
- Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
- Be able to communicate through SMS.
- Be accurate, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
- Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
- Have good verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in other gig-type work.
