About The Position
The Ticket Buyer purchases tickets at live-event venue box offices using purchase orders received through a smartphone app and a company-provided credit card. Buyers enter detailed purchase information in the app and ship the tickets to the company. Commissions are paid weekly by direct deposit after the tickets are received; there is no base pay. The role offers flexible scheduling and may suit people with experience in rideshare, delivery, shopping, courier, or other gig work. No prior experience is necessary.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
- Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
- Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
- Be able to communicate through SMS.
- Be accurate, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
- Have good verbal communication skills.
