About The Position
The Ticket Buyer is an independent contractor who earns commissions by purchasing tickets at venue box offices. Ticket purchase orders are received through a smartphone app, and the buyer travels to venues to purchase tickets using a company-provided credit card. After each purchase, the buyer enters the transaction details in the app and ships the tickets to the company. Commissions are paid weekly by direct deposit after the tickets are received. The role offers a flexible schedule and requires approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary. No experience is necessary.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
- Have a smartphone for viewing order requests and entering purchase information.
- Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
- Be able to communicate through SMS.
- Be accurate, detail-oriented, and result-driven.
- Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
- Have good verbal communication skills.

- Experience as a rideshare or delivery driver, shopper, courier, or in other gig-type work may be a good fit.
