About The Position
Make a lasting impact in the lives of K–12 students as a Special Education Aide! At Cross Country Education, we offer Special Education Aides both long-term and day-to-day placements in schools across Los Angeles, allowing you to choose assignments that fit your availability and goals. Whether you're looking for consistent work or more variety in your schedule, all roles follow the regular school-day hours and allow you to enjoy summers and school breaks off.
Requirements
- 48 Units of College Credit
- 3+ months of experience supporting children with disabilities, special education needs and/or developmental differences
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with lesson instruction and classroom activities
- Support students in individual or group settings based on their IEP goals
- Help implement curriculum and classroom routines
- Provide academic and behavioral support throughout the school day
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Perform related duties as needed
