About The Position

Requirements

• Medical Assistant diploma.
• A minimum of one year of experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• two years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the provision of direct patient care by performing routine patient care procedures, technical and clerical supportive services in the clinical setting.
• Administers intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal injections.
• Performs skin tests.
• Administers oral medication.
• Performs venipunctures.
• Performs skin punctures for blood specimens.
