As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Crisis Response in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of suspicious behavior or conditions.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
