About The Position

Cascadia Global Security is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer in Hallettsville, Texas. The position pays $18 per hour and is scheduled Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Daily pay options are available, with payout as soon as the next day.

The officer will help safeguard school grounds, personnel, and the public by performing access control, campus patrols, and security monitoring. Patrols may be conducted on foot or in a company-marked vehicle if the candidate has an exemplary driving history. The role also includes deterring theft and vandalism, enforcing campus rules, responding to safety concerns, and maintaining clear administrative documentation. Officers must maintain uniform and grooming standards and be comfortable working around children and teenagers.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of armed security experience.
• Level 3 (Armed) Security License.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfort working with children and teenagers.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Candidates should be able to provide body armor, including a tactical outer carrier or concealed inner carrier and 3a+ soft armor.
• Candidates should provide a duty belt with MOLLE attachments, OC spray, handcuffs, and a baton.
• Candidates must provide their own duty weapon and at least 2 spare magazines.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Previous law enforcement or military experience.
• Driver's License.
• CPR Training.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control.
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, associates, or public safety.
• Conduct patrols in a company-marked vehicle when assigned and when driving-history requirements are met.
• Conduct foot patrols to maintain visibility and observe unusual activity at client facilities.
• Deter theft and vandalism.
• Help ensure a safe and professional work environment for the client, associates, and facility personnel.
• Enforce campus rules and regulations.
• Safeguard school grounds from suspicious people and activity.
• Patrol and supervise the school campus.
• Keep daily administrative documentation concise and complete.
• Maintain uniform attire and grooming standards while in uniform.
• Perform other related duties as required.
