About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer for a government location. The officer will safeguard clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. The role requires candidates to be at least 21 years old, a U.S. citizen, and have previous military, law enforcement, or armed security experience. Pay is $39.80 per hour, plus $5.90 per hour for health and welfare (H&W).

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have previous military, law enforcement, or armed security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Must participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
