About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer to serve an aerospace and defense location in Camden, Arkansas. The role involves armed driving patrols and incident investigation, with a focus on protecting clients, visitors, personnel, and restricted areas. The officer provides customer service, maintains a visible security presence, follows site-specific procedures, and responds professionally to incidents. The position pays $21.18 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Applicants must have an armed guard card or license and a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs is required.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, follow established protocols, and contact emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
• Maintain required equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
