About The Position
PDS Optical is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures eyeglasses and operates optical laboratories in Louisville, Kentucky, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as well as managing optical stores across the United States and Puerto Rico. The company is an Equal Opportunity employer and values its employees. Korrect Optical is seeking an Apprentice Optician to work at a Korrect Optical retail store. The role focuses on providing excellent eyewear service and customer care. This is a full-time position; the schedule will be discussed during the interview. The pay range is $20–$23 per hour, with commissions and incentives and no cap on earning potential.
Requirements
- Must be an Apprentice Optician.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Skill in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear.
- Proficiency in using lensometers, pupilometers, and computers.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
