About The Position

MCAT Solutions LLC is hiring a full-time, onsite Electrical Control Apprentice in Columbus, Ohio. The role is intended as an entry point into skilled trades, including for recent trade school graduates. The apprentice receives hands-on training while assisting experienced technicians with building automation system (BAS) installation and related low-voltage work. The work is performed in a customer-focused, collaborative environment alongside automation technician trainees and field technician trainees. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The stated pay range is $19–$24 per hour, based on experience. Requirements

Able to safely use basic hand tools and power tools.
Able to accurately read and measure using a tape measure.
Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced technicians with controls wiring, sensor wiring, and control panel wiring.
Assist with BAS systems and learn to troubleshoot and install building automation solutions.
Work alongside automation technician trainees and field technician trainees on hands-on projects.
Assist with low-voltage installations and commissioning tasks.
Contribute to customer-focused projects and help solve practical problems.
