About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join field crews on commercial and industrial solar installations in the Phoenix, Arizona market. The apprentice will work under the direct supervision of licensed electricians and support installations while completing required apprenticeship hours and coursework. The role offers on-the-job training toward a journeyman license and an opportunity to help deliver renewable energy systems for commercial and industrial clients.
Requirements
- Enrollment in or eligibility for a state-registered electrical apprenticeship.
- Reliable, safety-focused work habits and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn the electrical trade and take direction from journeymen and foremen.
- Comfort working outdoors on active construction sites, including lifting materials and working on ladders and lifts.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installations under supervision.
- Handle materials, prepare conduit, pull wire, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Complete required apprenticeship hours and coursework.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Learn to read plans and specifications and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC).
