About The Position

Requirements

• 6 Years of experience in Security Engineering/Administration roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.
• TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
• Experience performing a wide variety of information assurance and information systems security engineering duties
• Experience with certification and accreditation of information systems using DIACAP (formerly DITSCAP), NIACAP, NIST SP 800-37, and/or DCID 6/3 frameworks
• Understanding of network and system security architectures
• Proficiency in security assessment methodologies and frameworks
• Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work

Nice To Haves

• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+, etc.)
• Experience with government security frameworks and compliance requirements
• Background in security architecture design
• Experience with incident response and forensics

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and implementing security requirements within the organization's business processes.
• Ensuring compliance with Federal laws and regulations.
• Performing a wide variety of information assurance and information systems security engineering duties.
