About The Position

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Psychology preferred; master’s level candidate will also be considered.
• A minimum of three years’ successful teaching experience in higher education preferred;
• Successful experience with online instruction;
• Participating in curriculum/program development;
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of learning management platforms such as Blackboard
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams
• Positive evaluations of classroom management and instructional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Incorporating in-person teaching and learning strategies that will motivate and engage student learning;
• Utilizing effective teaching and learning practices such as presentations, demonstrations, experience-based learning, class discussion, hands-on activities, and other appropriate modes of educational delivery;
• Preparing course outlines and syllabi in accordance with program standards and in collaboration with the program chairperson;
• Leading and monitoring classroom instruction that promotes educational and learning progress;
• Evaluating and grading student performance and posting attendance and grades in a timely manner;
• Advising and supervising field service
• Other contractual duties as assigned.
