About The Position

SUNY Delhi is accepting applications for an ongoing applicant pool for on-campus Economics Adjunct Instructors in the School of Nursing, Arts and Sciences. Requirements

• An appropriate college-level degree, as determined by the Dean and commensurate with course complexity.

• Prior teaching experience.
• Prior collegiate-level teaching experience.
• Prior online course instruction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage course syllabi in accordance with department and college standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues on course curriculum.
• Deliver learning-centered instruction to undergraduate students.
• Support the growth and success of a diverse student population through careful preparation of course materials, effective teaching methods, and informed critical feedback on assignments and discussions.
• Develop and adapt curriculum, incorporating current technologies into classroom or online learning environments, including the LMS.
• Implement school and campus academic and attendance policies.
• Stay informed about innovations and changes in the subject area and field of practice.
• Work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations.
