We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and career-driven Staff Accountant who is eager to build a strong foundation in accounting, grow professionally, and make an immediate impact within a fast-paced and collaborative finance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 1-2 years’ experience in accounting or related business area
- Proficient in spreadsheet software (Excel)
- NetSuite Accounting Software knowledge
- Must be detail oriented
- Strong organization and communications skills
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Performing daily bank reconciliation
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Reviewing expense accounts
- Creating and maintaining periodic reporting
- Maintaining fixed asset system
- Assisting the Controller in preparation of miscellaneous confidential correspondence
- Assist with monthly accruals and journal entries
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the company
- Reconcile accounts and close the monthly books
- Reconcile cash disbursements accounts
- Properly record all transactions in the accounting system and accounts are reconciled with bank statements and transactions daily in NetSuite
- Verify transactions are charged to the appropriate accounts
- Perform month-end intercompany reconciliations and payment offsets with related companies
- Performs other duties as assigned
