We’re looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting team! This role is a mix of day-to-day accounting operations (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and credit card management) and core accounting responsibilities like month-end close and reconciliations. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1–2 years of accounting experience with exposure to AR, AP, and reconciliations
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities
Nice To Haves
- Experience with sales tax is a plus
Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable: invoicing, payment application, aging reports, and collections follow-up
- Accounts Payable: process invoices, ensure coding/approvals, and prepare payments
- Company Credit Cards: issue cards, review expenses, ensure compliance, and perform reconciliations
- Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support process improvement or accounting automation
- Collaborate with teams across the business to resolve issues
