About The Position

West Shore Home is a technology-driven and industry-leading home improvement company specializing in high-quality and convenient remodels of Bathrooms, Flooring, Windows, and Doors. West Shore Home operates in over 40 locations nationwide and is home to over 3,000 employees! The Staff Accountant will compile and audit data and reports to support internal and external reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and manager review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in closing accounting books and finalize the financial records monthly (5 business day goal) by preparing applicable journal entries timely and accurately.
• Perform general ledger account analysis and prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis.
• Compile data and reports to support internal and external reporting as necessary.
• Provide additional support for internal and external audits as necessary.
