About The Position
CMC Financial is a growing wealth management firm providing comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and tax-informed planning. This role involves supporting client relationships and delivering thoughtful, coordinated advice alongside a CFP®-credentialed Lead Advisor. It offers the opportunity to develop as an advisor, assume increasing responsibility, and contribute to the firm's growth. The Wealth Advisor Associate will serve as the primary point of contact for an established group of CMC Financial clients, delivering consistent, high-quality advice and relationship management. This is a book-management role.
Requirements
- Series 65 license, or already in process and able to obtain within 90 days of hire
- 4 to 5 years of relevant client-facing experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage client relationships
- Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-up to every client interaction
- Adapt and pivot effectively as client needs and market conditions shift
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of tax and estate planning strategies within a wealth management context
- JD/LLM, CFP®, or CPA/EA credential or candidates are welcome
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships for select clients
- Conduct regular client financial reviews covering investment and estate planning needs
- Coordinate with the broader CMC Financial team, including CMC Tax, on complex client matters
- Ensure the maintaining accurate client records and activity
- Obtain and maintain all required licensing and continuing education
