About The Position

Making use of Service Titan, established forms, processes, and protocols to: · Provide support to the installation technicians and field supervisors to maximize customer service and installations. Recognize that the installation technicians are the primary customers of the warehouse team. · Participate in safety teams as needed; perform all functions in a safe manner and contribute to the overall safety of the facility · Perform regular safety walk-throughs and maintain all facilities and equipment in safe condition · Assist installation technicians as “2nd Man” as required · Assist field for parts/tanks deliveries · Issue parts and tanks to installation techs; process paperwork and SME transactions · Receive parts and tanks from suppliers; processing receipts in SME · Deliver parts and tanks to remote warehouse locations, installation locations and recycle · Transact returns and exchanges with suppliers; follow up to ensure credits are received in a timely manner · Process returns and exchanges internal to company, such as from installation techs or transfers to other locations · Create purchase orders for parts and tanks as needed to maintain minimum stock levels, or for special requirements · Perform monthly tank inventories and daily cycle counts · Control and protect company stock from theft, mismanagement or damage · Rotate stock to ensure First in First Out (FIFO) and minimize outdated stock · Manage warehouse organization and layout to maximize usage and access, and minimize damage · Perform cleaning and maintenance on stock, equipment and facilities, including the parking lot, yard, office, warehouse, restrooms. Washing rags daily and keeping a clean rag available for the technicians. · Perform minor repairs and improvements to facilities as needed; arrange and manage contractors to perform more extensive work as directed and approved by management · Load and unload vendor, supplier, company and technician vehicles · Transport, inspect, inventory, and update vehicle records as needed · Assist with Fleet – Maintenance/Inspections/Audits etc.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds, transports and maneuver equipment up to 200 pounds with use of dollies, pallet jacks, lifts and/or fellow employees.
  • Forklift operation capable (ability to become forklift certified).
  • Valid motor vehicle license and clean driving record.
  • Basic knowledge and ability to use computer programs, with minimal training.
  • Ability to complete forms and paperwork in English; basic math skills.
