About The Position

Novolex is hiring a Warehouse Associate I to verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. The role pulls customer orders, loads trucks, relabels products as needed, and coordinates customer merchandise pickups. It also supports routing, inventory organization, racking, cycle counting, and reporting, along with housekeeping and maintenance of the dock and inventory areas. Other duties may be assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

This position works in a manufacturing and warehouse environment and requires continuous physical activity, including frequent walking and standing, climbing stairs, bending, squatting, reaching overhead, and lifting boxes weighing 60 pounds or more. The environment may involve excessive indoor heat or cold. The stated shift duration is 8–10 hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and UPS and/or FedEx software.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend at the waist.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing 60 pounds or more.
• Ability to climb stairs and tolerate continuous standing for 8–10 hours.
• Ability to tolerate extensive walking and excessive indoor hot and cold temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Handle all outbound shipments.
• Fill orders for customer shipments.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Set up and operate a label maker.
• Relabel products as needed.
• Call customers to coordinate pickups.
• Assist with routing.
• Perform general housekeeping in dock and inventory areas.
• Maintain and clean the inventory area and organize inventory.
• Assist with inventory racking, cycle counting, and reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
