Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. using proper technique

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack all VMI orders for daily operations.
  • Verify order details before staging to prevent errors at customer sites.
  • Maintain organized staging areas for efficient vehicle loading.
  • Assist with loading VMI vehicles for accurate and efficient delivery preparation.
  • Keep VMI vehicles clean and organized for operational readiness.
  • Support daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
  • Accompany VMI Specialists to job sites to assist with the VMI process.
  • Gain hands-on knowledge of job site operations, customer expectations, and inventory management.
  • Develop skills and judgment necessary for a VMI Specialist role.
  • Proactively flag issues such as inventory shortfalls, vehicle concerns, or order discrepancies.
  • Communicate clearly with VMI Specialists, warehouse staff, and leadership.
  • Provide team coverage and take ownership of assigned tasks without prompting.
