About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA (North Hills) is seeking Emergency Veterinarians to join their team in a large referral setting. This role offers the opportunity to practice the highest standard of quality medicine and patient care, working alongside seven criticalists across three Pittsburgh locations. The hospital is a comprehensive multi-specialty and referral facility in Western Pennsylvania, featuring a 35,000 square-foot facility with advanced treatment and diagnostic services. It includes a house officer program with rotating interns, emergency and critical care interns and residents, and surgical interns and residents, fostering a collaborative team environment. Additional services include a blood bank, comprehensive in-house laboratory, and pharmacy.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree required.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.
