About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas (Overland Park) is seeking a full-time boarded or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join our state-of-the art emergency and specialty hospital. You will be joining a motivated and synergistic group of specialists and emergency doctors who work closely to provide the highest quality of care. We offer a multitude of advanced diagnostics, including fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, an in-house Antech laboratory, as well as a 64 slice CT scanner and 1.5T magnet MRI capabilities on-site. Our services include 24/7 emergency, surgery, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery and critical care. Kansas City has a vibrant arts culture with affordable cost of living and passion for delicious BBQ. The city has dedicated fans for professional teams like the Chiefs (NFL), Royals (MLB), Sporting KC (MLS), and the KC Current (NWSL), which has its own dedicated stadium. Kansas City is world-renowned for its barbecue and has more BBQ restaurants per capita than any other city.

Requirements

Board-certified or residency-trained veterinary cardiologist required.
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
