Bilingual Practice Manager - English/Spanish

About The Position

EPIC Health is seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing primary care clinic in Houston, TX. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, outstanding patient experiences, and strong staff performance while helping us build and expand our presence within the Houston community. As a key leader, you will create a positive, organized, and patient-centered environment that supports both clinical excellence and team success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, medical practice management, or clinic administration.
  • Experience managing patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and clinic operations.
  • Strong background in budgeting, operational performance, and team leadership.
  • Fluent in Spanish & English
  • Strong leadership and employee development skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems (Athena experience strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, operational workflows, and vendor coordination.
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on patient experience and operational excellence.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and retain top clinical and administrative talent.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support employee development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee daily clinic operations, patient flow, and scheduling efficiency.
  • Manage staffing schedules and attendance to ensure proper coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with Texas healthcare regulations, HIPAA requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Address patient concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Help create a welcoming, high-quality experience for every patient interaction.
  • Support patient satisfaction and service excellence initiatives.
  • Maintain clinic inventory, supplies, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and the clinic environment remains clean and safe.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners as needed.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
  • Support clinic growth initiatives through scheduling optimization, workflow improvements, and capacity planning.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare laws, OSHA standards, and safety protocols.
  • Support implementation of operational policies and risk management procedures.
