About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human behavior or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of UX research experience.
• Ability to perform research-related tasks, including research, planning, evaluation, and iteration.
• Ability to share research results quickly and effectively.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Knowledge of UX research modalities and methods, such as generative and evaluative research, participatory design, card sorting, journey mapping, and unmoderated research.
• Understanding of how to integrate qualitative and quantitative research methods to improve research outcomes.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a workstream.
• Client-facing experience in the federal or public sector.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Dscout, Optimal Workshop, Figma, Confluence, or JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to understand research needs.
• Conduct all stages of UX research, including identifying, planning, driving, conducting, analyzing, and reporting actionable insights.
• Recruit participants for research studies.
• Communicate research study status and updates to stakeholders.
• Continuously update the UX research repository and build a repository that improves efficiency for clients.
• Work cross-functionally with product owners, designers, content producers, and leadership to identify user insights and gaps, conduct UX research, and inform user experience strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve the user experience based on research insights.
• Deliver oral and written presentations and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data.
