About The Position

Unit Secretary Clerks are responsible for the following: Provides support to the nurse manager with reports, data, and special assignments. Transcribes physician orders for medications, diets, treatments, etc. Runs errands as directed/necessary Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Unit Secretary Clerk will perform various clerical responsibilities on nursing units including preparing, compiling, and maintaining patient records.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months of clerical experience
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides support to the nurse manager with reports, data, and special assignments.
- Transcribes physician orders for medications, diets, treatments, etc.
- Runs errands as directed/necessary
- Perform various clerical responsibilities on nursing units including preparing, compiling, and maintaining patient records.
