Role Overview The Treasury Analyst supports the day-to-day cash management, banking, and liquidity functions for Venturi Supply's multi-state, multi-segment operations. This individual will monitor daily cash positions, support bank account administration, spearhead paying the company’s payables, and assist with debt and investment activities across the organization. The role works closely with Accounting, AP, and AR to ensure accurate cash reporting and reconciliation, and supports treasury leadership in maintaining strong banking relationships and internal controls as the company continues to grow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 6 or more years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, banking, or accounting.
  • Experience with treasury management systems and online banking platforms is highly desired.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems; familiarity with P21 is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of cash management, banking operations, and basic debt and investment concepts.
  • Keen ability to recognize fraud and phishing attempts.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a successful record of resolving banking and reconciliation issues.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with financial modeling and reporting tools.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following established treasury policies and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and self-motivated, able to handle a high-volume workload and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced department.
  • Ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently, escalating unusual or complex issues as needed.
  • Comfortable working with multiple bank platforms and online banking portals.
  • Thrives collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, multi-entity treasury function.
  • Physical requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting/carrying up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with treasury management systems and online banking platforms is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with P21 is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors daily cash positions across all bank accounts and prepares daily cash position reports.
  • Prepares and maintains 13-week cash forecasting and liquidity planning across business segments.
  • Reconciles bank accounts and monitors account activity for accuracy and fraud prevention.
  • Processes and reviews wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other bank transactions in accordance with internal controls.
  • Processes accounts payable to company vendors, landlords, payroll company and lender.
  • Supports management of banking relationships, including account maintenance, signer updates, and bank fee analysis.
  • Assists with administration of the company's credit facility, including borrowing base certificates and covenant compliance reporting.
  • Monitors and reconciles merchant card and payment processing activity.
  • Supports debt service scheduling, including interest and principal payment tracking.
  • Assists with intercompany funding and cash sweep activities across business segments and bank accounts.
  • Prepares monthly treasury reporting packages for finance leadership.
  • Supports the administration of positive pay, fraud monitoring, and other bank security controls.
  • Maintains documentation supporting treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assists with month-end treasury close activities, including journal entries for cash-related accounts.
  • Assists with UCC filings, bank account openings/closings, and signatory changes as the company expands.
  • Assists in the preparation of audit schedules and support for external auditors related to treasury activities.
  • Researches and resolves banking discrepancies, rejected transactions, and payment errors.
  • Monitors compliance with treasury-related policies and escalates exceptions to the Treasury Manager.
  • Assists with system enhancements and testing related to treasury management systems and banking platforms.
  • Collaborates with Accounting, AP, and AR teams to support cash application and payment processing.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or required.
