About The Position

Requirements

• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; a CDL is not needed to start.
• Have held a driver’s license for at least three years; five years is required for applicants in Tennessee or Washington.
• Be at least 21 years old; applicants in Tennessee must be at least 25.
• If employed in a DOT-regulated driving role during the past three years, have that employment verifiable in accordance with DOT guidelines.
• Pass a DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Comply with DOT regulations, including the prohibition on marijuana use, even for medical purposes.
• Have reliable attendance and a safety-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus on assigned local routes.
• Transport students to and from school, sports, field trips, and other events.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe bus environment.
• Communicate courteously with students, parents, and school staff.
• Follow all federal, state, local, and company safety rules.
