About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Two years of recent relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment, organize multiple priorities, and complete duties within expected timelines and requirements.
• Computer and required technology proficiency.
• Professional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, teamwork, collaboration, customer-service, and community-relations skills.
• Ability to retain and apply new knowledge and skills.
• Ability to complete applicable work assignments independently.
• Ability to teach and educate others.
• Ability to develop training and competency-assessment materials and assess competencies.
• Complex problem-solving ability, including analyzing information from multiple sources and collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform non-patient-related tasks to support the department and staff.
• Clean and set up patient treatment areas as needed.
• Move patients as needed.
• Perform clerical duties, including patient scheduling and check-in/check-out.
• Assist in training and mentoring colleagues.
• Build patient and care-team confidence and cooperation through patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication.
• Follow applicable regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to protect privacy and safety.
