About The Position
Empower AI is seeking a Technical Writer to join the Program Management Office (PMO) at the Department of State. This role is crucial for effectively communicating operations and completing required deliverables to support the customer's mission of providing IT services to DoS users enterprise-wide. The Technical Writer will be instrumental in providing technical communications analysis, projection planning, advisory services, and assistance in coordinating all communication elements of this effort.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
- Secret Security Clearance
Nice To Haves
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification(s)
Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, write, edit, publish, and improve PMO and required documents, including SOPs.
- Manage and contribute to documents such as the Project Management Plan (PMP), Configuration/Change Management (C/CM) Plan, Stakeholder Management Plan, Communication Plan, Performance Management Plan, Disaster Recovery (DR) Plan, Facility Management Plan (FMP), and Capacity Management Plan (CMP).
- Provide technical communications analysis, projection planning, and advisory services.
- Assist in coordination for all communication elements of the effort.
