Teaching Assistant Jobs

This position is available only to enrolled American University students. Most student positions at American University are eligible to use Federal Work Study (FWS) awards, with a few exceptions. We seek a qualified Teaching Assistant to help with Battleground Michigan class (COMM-420/620-GOVT-496/696 ) which will be taught in Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Battleground/campaign field class format and must be available to attend class throughout the Fall (Tuesdays 5:30-8:00 pm) as well as travel with the class to Michigan for the field period (Friday Oct 31 - Wednesday November 4; all travel expenses will be paid). The TA will be compensated a $2,500 stipend.
