About The Position
The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. This role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position involves engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
Responsibilities
- Develop fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
- Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
- Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
Benefits
- Hourly pay of $18.52–$19.23, with bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; compensation is based on position, education, and experience.
